Need some help with 4wd . No response from switch on dash.checked fuse #13,26,27 & mini#4 all ok.no power on red wire to switch w/ key on.any ideas ?

Not sure what year yours is but mine wound up being the module behind the radio. I found a company that sold remanufactured ones and was good to go.

Thanks,I'm sorry it's a 97 4.0 OHV A/T.Anybdy else got any ideas?
 






Usually it is a bad shift motor on the transfer case

Is there actually a red wire on your switch? I do not think the 4wd switch gets 12v+ maybe 5v we can look at the 97 ESOF wiring if needed but with these trucks it is usually a bad or stuck shift motor

In 97 the gem module is the 4wd control computer
