Okay, I called up my friend who's going to help me out with the install of my Skyjacker 2" lift...

However, we're going to be limited to 5 hours of working time since he has prior plans... Will this be enough time to install the kit? Add A Leaf, coils and shocks???

And does anyone know what size U-Bolts I should buy??????

Based on what I've read about doing the lift, I would say "no". And then, adding the AALs, coils and shocks? Definately "no". Why try to kill yourself? Give yourself an entire weekend.

As for the u-bolts, I measured mine at 7/16". Go with 1/2" and torque the nuts to 65 lbs./ft.

WOW. Only 65 lbs./ft? When I put in my aal's I torqued them down to 80 lbs./ft, and the rear end vibrated like crazy until I hit about 20 MPH. So I retightened them to 105 lbs./ft, and Problem solved.

Yeah, 5 hours is knowhere near enough time to do the install. Heck, the aal's took me 8 hours to do with all the stupid rusted stuff. Every bolt was either rusted in place, or stripped out on me. Also, It was soo fun to do. I did it about a month ago when it was about 30 degrees out. Give yourself an entire weekend.

Eaton Detroit Spring provided those torque ratings (1/2" u-bolts @ 65 lbs./ft. and 9/16" u-bolts @ 90 lbs./ft.). I swapped out my Ex leaves for F150 leaves and torqued to 60 lbs./ft. (7/16" u-bolts). So far, so good. I will re-check the torque of those u-bolts, though.
