o/d light flashing

o/d light started flashing one day got home turned truck off left later the od flash diddnt do it couple week later happened again turned of truck started it no flashing im baffled any got an answer oo and my engine light hasnt been on

Well, first off you should get the computer scanned since this sounds like the beginning of transmission issues. Any hand held OBD II scanner will do or you can simply count the number of flashes whenever the light comes on again and check with the list of possible fault codes. This might not help much though because the computer might spit out a few codes.

Have it checked early - you don't want to get stuck somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

it flashed od off for twenty miles the first time and the second iii drove for 15 miles or so and it stoped doing it after i started it back up to go somewhere both times
