2008 XLT 4.0 ltr. 50,000 mi. Red Fire Metallic, Ltd. running boards, Hunter 2.5" stainless bull bar w/pilot lights wired to be on with ignition, dual gold pinstripe, Kobalt side mount tool box mounted at front of bed up from the bottom. Plastic trim painted with Krylon Fusion then painted with bumper coating.
I saw my first Sport Trac at the Memphis auto show in 2000. I was smitten. I could not begin to afford one. All the years since I've taken notice of all I've seen. I never lost my desire. When I finally traded my 1997 F-150 in Oct. 2009. I got a 2005 Ranger. I also test drove a 2007 ST. I just couldn't let go of that much more money and I regretted it. Last Oct. I cashed in my retirement and traded for this 2008 ST. Just today I mounted the bar and lights. I am happy with it.

That's a nice sound.

And nice ST BARtruth - I like the truck box in the back.

Snap65 - Don't beat yourself up too much, that's a pretty good photoshop. And I'd agree that that is a good look.

Finally, Ford likes chrome for the same reason the 2011 Limited has 20" rims standard. And for the same reason that so many people like rap music (which is actually a mystery to me).

I really like that tiregate, but I think you should at least look into putting your plate somewhere on the tiregate. I could see some cop not being too happy about not being able to see your plate at all.

Of course, you are right. The tag bracket was backordered & came in over the weekend. I'll install it this week. I also have a tag-bracket camera which I hope to get connected. I need to disconnect the rear parking sensors.
Next on the list is a winch mount.
