i have a 96 xlt and i just put a 99 front bumper on. it says on the sticker inside the bumper that it is grey, but it is almost black compared to the stock grey on my 96, you prob know what i mean. anyways, i am buying performance products fender flares and stock rocker panels that have been painted dark grey to match the trim. now i have been offered to buy a brand new EB trim set(including flares and running boards) off a 2001 X instead. do you think the platinum looking trim would look good on a black X with the new 99 bumper? it's not like a true EB with the matching bumpers. i would also have to pain the trim on the rear bumper black to sort of match the new front one and then have platinum flares and running boards. what do ya think?
