Hey guys, I have a question for you: Today during our monthly Technician meeting I brought up the idea of having a car/truck show to bring in some business to our ailing service department (it's been horribly slow lately). I had in mind the big Texas run where they had a show at a Ford dealer down there. If my boss goes for it, it'd probably be in early May.... Would anyone be interested in coming down to participate? Free hot dogs and pizza and I'd spring for beer Just curious. I would LOVE to see the looks of disbelief on my coworkers' faces when a buncha monster lifted and lowered Explorers take over the parking lot

Think they'd like Mach and a '66? However, if it's the weekend of the 13th, we're already signed up for another cruise.

My passanger can only make it sunday and I dont feel like going up alone, plus I have the shops trip in 2 months so I outta just get ready for that and try and get something accomplished on the SAS. So, who would be up for sunday. If we wont have a group thats cool, I'll just take a raincheck for the next one. Maybe drag ya'll up with the j**pers.

Oh yeah, two little things I forgot to mention- 1) I'm having some phone issues right now, so I can't send/reply to text messages or return calls. If you need me, you have to call. I've got my phone on me all the time now, so unless I'm busy or in the shower I'll answer.

2) I put Shelby up on the lift last night to change her oil/check her over and spotted my tranny pan, which I haven't looked at since before I left for Florida.........................................Excruciatingly slow, AGONIZINGLY PAINFUL DEATH mean anything to you, Benjamin?!?!?! :fire: :fire:

ben=hero , I was told about that one as well. BTW, she definatly wants to come, but can only come sunday. I look at it this way, im so short on funds I havent been able to spring for an alignment YET! It acually went in once a few months ago, but it was too muddy to work on.

yeah so... im into the whole sport/import scene now.... how ya think a 400hp VR4 would do at paragon? I do have a t-case and AWD... 4 wheel steering.... hmmmm....
