Paraphoe's 97 XLT

Jason I remember reading somewhere that the scangauge isn't compatible in a lot of ways with the 97 Explorer...like, a lot of it's features won't work with it?

I remember reading that on the website. Maybe I'm wrong.

Nope, you are not wrong. I don't believe it can calculate the distance traveled. As such, it cannot calculate MPH, MPG, avg MPH (obviously), etc. It can tell you how much fuel you've burned, but it can't give you a MPG readout. It's kind of annoying, but I just leave the fuel readout on and check my odometer and then just do the math at the end of the trip.

Thanks Jon, means a lot.

Yo bro, sweet truck, i'm diggin the the color and the matching axle. I saw u have jersey plates. Im a jersey boy too. Where's that spot u were wheeling at in the pics? It looks pretty freakin sweet. Also, just curious, is your rig a daily driver? Lemme know

Thanks guys.

Kyle, I live in PA and actually changed plates a week ago, haha. The spot a lot of my pics are from is in the Pine Barrens in South Jersey. We actually all ended up getting tickets there for being "off the trail" (it's a damn mud pit/open area) so I can't say I recommend it. And yea, my truck is my DD.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Danny - no glare from the lights at all. They're not the brightest though - I want to get PIAAs or KCs up there when I have the cash, but they're decent for what they are.

nice truck u got there

Added some volunteer firefighter bling to my X. :D

I'll get pictures up soon, hopefully.

One of the nicest, lifted Explorers I've ever seen! Great work man! If I ever lift my Explorer, that's the look I'll be after. :D

Thanks Mylo. :D

Got a little high back there, whoops!
Sweet ride! I am wanting those rear tail light guards for mine. I dig um!
