Mr. Jason,

If I may express one opinion to you.. paint that grille insert and hub caps flat black!! I think it will really make your red emblem pop more and got rid of the cop-wheel look :P Also, how did you go about painting your trim on your bumpers, I really want to do that to mine but have yet to find a successful enough thread explaining how to.

Great pics!!...Ford should take note on what style is and come out with the 2012 Paraphoe!! Bring back the 2nd gen.

I'm flattered. Let me know if you have a contact at Ford to help get it done. ;)

Jason, front plate required by law in Illinois. Already had an issue with that. Would love to do what VroomZoom did, beyond my skills/tools/time right now though. Gonna park Ex for winter and search for a Hood Scoop like yours!

Explorer express is where I got mine - a bit pricey, but the match to the factory paint was 100% spot on - it's perfect. I recommend.

Brandon, love your truck - first off. Keep up the great work.

I've considered painting the inside part of my grill black for a while, but it's just one of those things that never happened. I actually had a photoshop of it done a couple years ago in preparation. Maybe you'll light the fire for me to do this in the spring. As for the centercaps, I might be buying a set of glossy black ones powder coated by Turdle soon to end the cop wheel look - even though I kinda like it, haha.

Your rig does look a lot like mine - great minds think alike. ;) I like the BFGs on yours. I just had them on mine for 2 months but switched to the Goodyears for a more aggressive look.

As for the trim painting, I posted a link to the thread below in my main post in this thread. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions:

I appreciated the response! If you you do decide to paint, I recommend Rustoleum's protective enamel, awesome stuff for cheap. As far as the tires, I too regret buying the A/T's.. really wish I went with M/T's now. :(

I see your in PA, let me know next time you go to Rausch Creek if your in need of a wheeling buddy, I hear from the VA4x4 club that it's worth the trip, if it's alright with you, I'd like to check it out!

what a terrible looking rig...............

you should just give it to me:D
Dude that center console arm rest cover is terrible also :D

Very nice looking X.

Those are some great pics you added/I must have missed the post. The greyish mud pic could be used for a Ford Advertisement!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

GRN - in a perfect world, man. Haha. Love the sig quote, BTW.

NEW PICS!!! U PROMISED!!

Bump for a good lookin' truck!

Thanks Prz. I got her detailed on Friday, but don't have any pics. I'll hold off on new stuff until I install my new LED light bar, skid plate, get the lift done. Those are the next big 3.

How big of a lift are you going for? I'm getting an estimate and measurements on my bumpers this week :) :) :)

I'm removing the TT/Shackles and putting a 4'' Superlift kit on. So I'll have the 4'' kit along with the 3'' body lift when all is said and done.

Cant wait to see it installed!!!

Any Progress??

Nada. Can't free up a weekend to get this done. It's unreal. Was hoping for October or November but I doubt it's gonna happen. Target = December.
