DANG THAT TOOK A WHILE!!
I found the old thread and pics:

Looks like only 10 studs per window= much easier to get them in and out
I am thinking the upper and lower studs could be mounted on a piece of metal or plastic and the side ones can just be attached to the canvas. This way I can still roll them up for storage and they will fit tight since I wont have a snap every 6" or whatever....
If my plan goes well I see no reason why to chop the top off my beloved BII, meaning I can still have heat in those colorado winters
and AC in the hot CA summers!
