That looks nice, I've been trying to find somewhere to hide my power inverter, then run off extensions for the outlets, much like MountaineerGreen did.

I just wish the explorers glove box was big enough for this, mine will barely close as it is.

my 400w i ran my laptop and a home charger for a blackberry. ive also ran a power charger for a cordless drill battery. ive also powered a desktop w/ a flat panel 17 inch monitor, but monitor flickerd but it was usable.

lol wow, i'm Canadian, surprised to see a pistol in the glove compartment haha...oh boy

can you use a inverter that plugs into a cig light? like into the back of it or to the battery?

can i use one for a cig lighter but not actually plug it in? ie splice into behind the dash or battery?

how would i wire a cig light one in w/o it being seen?

You have to snake the wires around wherever you could hide them, and connect it to the battery or the fuse block with a separate fuse. You would have to remove the cigarette lighter plug with the built in fuse.
