Power Window Replacement Gear sets for Inoperable Power Windows on a 1st Gen.

Did you do it yourself or did get a shop to do the work? And if done at a shop, how much did it run you? Thanks

Just go to an auto store and buy them. At Advance and Autozone, the little bearings are only like 4-5 dollars. The bigger gear, just clean it real good, and regrease everything, just don't take off the metal housing, only take out the gears and pieces of bearing you can get to.

There's no reason to buy it for that much. As for doing everything, you can do it yourself, just take notes if you need to remember. There's a really good writeup on this site for it...
