That air box really is a pain to get out of there.

You said bro, the sun was going down losing light and paitence since i dont have a light fixture to see with, i just took my rubber mallet and went to town,lmao, but will have to head out to the junk yard and get another and dremel out a u shape to rest that filter kit on.

a pry bar could have that out no problem. when i pulled the one in my '99 it came out pretty easy

I don't really remember but I don't think I could get to the nuts under it and the bolts kept spinning. I just remember it was way harder, without breaking it, to get it out than I thought it would be.

Yea heard that, the only part of the box that's left is the bottom part, gunna check how it's placed in there, or either build my own box and attach it to the bottom half, might be easier.
