Rausch Creek Sept 29-30

This run sound really tempting... But I'm in school in Syracuse Ny about 212miles away from RC. 3.5 hours
I would like to make it But the weekend before 22-23 I'm wheeling with an xttera club In Oneonta, New York.and I may have to repair some things after that run. plus my trucks front end is hurting pretty bad.
and a lack of funds... or should I say a lack of self control, on spending money on Partying at my off campus house

But on a good note I have acquired a barely used warn9.5ti and have a serious urge to go on a wheeling splurge, and really test it out
so I'm most likely going to be there camping.
I might drive out friday then camp friday and saturday night.
and by camping I mean starting a hugefire, drinking, and passing out in my truck

do they allow camping friday night?

This is why Lefy is awesome. THAT IS DEVOTION RIGHT THERE, PEOPLE!!!! :D

Damn, he's a champ. I would love a bonfire. :D

no bonfires allowed as far as I know... :(

But campfires and drinking till you pass out is still an option.

wow, this sounds really fun, but I don't think my truck is ready for this though.

You're more than welcomed to try out what you can. And if, for whatever reason, you can't do some of the harder trails, there are always bypass trails (as I mentioned in reply #30). You can also return your vehicle to the staging area and hitch a ride with one of the other vehicles (which is what happened in the June run). Just come out and see what its like ;). One thing we could even do is go on the easier trails one day and then do the harder trails the next.. and anyone who thinks their vehicle is not up for the harder trails can catch a ride in one of the other vehicles.

At what point does a fire surpass campfire status and become classifiable as a bonfire? I bet we could get a pretty decent marshmallow roaster going and still not get in trouble for it....

Uhm. Not getting home until 3am Monday has been the norm for like, 6 years running now.. Just drink a ****eload of Red Bull. Or bounce off a couple'a jersey walls like I did, that'll wake you up REAL fast :D

if you dont get lost in cornfields you shouldnt have a problem.

My Jeeper friend bailed on me, sadly, but this allows me to most likely be able to camp with you all. :D

looking good!

perfect spot to see how these Creepy Crawlers do on some real rocks!

I'm pretty sure I would get destroyed by The Gauntlet. Probably not gonna jump in that difficult end, if at all haha

That is super badass, though.

BTW that new trail looks like it would require rock sliders :D. Not running boards like I have.
