Is it possible? Has anyone tried? I'm not sure how you would hold it tight while it cures, may a bunch of clamps? My Limited's rims are starting to look like poop.
I'll try to snap some pics later. It is a common issue with these rims. I really don't want to buy new rims if I don't have to. I am afraid of road grime etc building up behind the cladding.
Hate to bring up an old post but I found my chrome rim is doing the same thing. It's missing the center cap but after realizing that its separating maybe the center cap is laying down inside holding it outward. We're you able to fix yours and what did you use?
I tried some type of "epoxy" and I didn't get the peeling part to stick to the wheel. Maybe another glue would work, but I have had no luck.
My wheels look good 10 feet away, up close, terrible.
