Yep. It worked just as well as it did with your license plate frame.
These are so heavy for their size I was sure they were cast steel.

If you'd have never told me I would still be dumbfounded on how it melted. But hey now I know if I ever need a part powder coated and its aluminum I know to blast it first. And yeah those things seem pretty hardy. Its surprising tht its aluminum.
Do they make a low/lower heat powder?
