I'm looking at buying a 99 Mountaineer that has a driver side power window problem. Looks like it fell off the track one time and they tried to fix it and somehow bent the linkage that pushes the window up and down. Plus they have a piece of the linkage, a long bar, in the back seat. Not sure yet where that goes. Need to compare to passenger side.
Can anyone help with how to replace this linkage or a picture of how it should look?
Do you think I can straighten out the linkage in the door panel and get it back to where it needs to be? The metal seems pliable.
What is the correct name for this linkage?
