A note for the gas station owners in Hesperia,Lucerne Valley and Apple Valley
Fix your fawking air compressors!:fire:
after we all split last night I remembered that I did'nt air up my tires after the run so i thought no biggie just hop back across the street and air em up
yeah right! went to the Chevron nothing checked the 76 station and there was broken went down the road to Apple Valley nada again went on down to Hesperia after checking a few there I finally found one almost by the freeway that had working air.
man i need to get some kind of on-board air/air compressor soon!

Looks like a nice run. Me and a few buddies took my kids up for a run in the lytle creek area. Lots of snow and mud, and a nice creek bed with tons of rocks to play on. I only got stuck once lol, but it was fun.

I like it alot more without it...![]()
I woulda done the same thing if that was my truck![]()
i am digging it too without the rack, handling is alot better and doesn't feel so tipsy now around the corners. I guestimate that thing with the light bar attached was probably around 40-50 lbs.

it was always the plan to ditch it but i had to figure out how to seal the hole in the roof after removal so i used some JB Weld-Stick to seal it.
and later this week i plan on liberating a pair of KC's from the light bar and putting them on the front brush guard.

ok guys sorry to chime in so late, i've had a crazy weekend and im still amazingly tired from it. i have maybe 5 pictures that i took, but they kinda suck and everyone else already has pics of the same thing i took
yes me and justin made it home fine and luckily the navajo still runs.
so about the picture tbars posted of getting out the tools to fix the car to get home. looks like my battery cables are shot and i really shouldn't drive my car until i get new ones, or i could lose my computer. we were able to tighten the clamps on cables and start it to get home (it was only making a click and sparks were shooting off the battery post/connector.
mounty, i thought you new about this run, i was about to ask why you weren't going, but i just figured you had your own reason.
ted your gonna be made at me, i've been driving the navajo still
this is why i've been busy and haven't been on. yesterday, my buddy's miguel and justin and me went to offroading on a little 1/2 mile trail that miguel knew about. it was only justin's big bronco and miguel's 4runner on 31's and the trail was freakin muddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! justin's bronco got stuck and we couldn't get it out, so we started calling everyone we knew with a 4x4 to try and help us get it out. not much luck with that. the only guy that came was lance in his little stock toyota, and he got stuck too! so now we have to stuck cars falling down a hill in severe mud (this stuff was deep!!!) this was at about 4:45 pm. so the only thing we could think to do was grab the novajo and jim's bronco. we did, then the bronco backed the wrong way down a hill and got stuck, but the good ol navajo pulled him out
took forever jut to get to the stuck cars and by this time its raining hard and pitch black dark. we worked for hours trying to pull lance's yota out. the path was up on a hill with slopes on both side and lance and justin's cars were falling off the hill. (it wasn't a cliff but it was pretty steep. after trying forver to get the toyota out, we went over and pulled justin's bronco out (we didn't think we were gonna be able to get him out. but the navajo was able to do it
) we ended up leaving lances car for the night the rest of us (me, jim, lance, migeul) headed home. cops were looking up at us most of the time, but they didn't know where the entrance to the trail was so luckily we got out of there without any hassel from them (yes it was an illegal trail) we got home about 2:00 am. that night sucked. it was freezing cold, no one could feel there face or hands. raining. muddy and slippery. and things didn't look good in favor of getting his truck out
the next day (this morning) we went back and talked to the construction workers who were down below and helped them clean up mud that ran down to the golf course form the rain. and they helped us and drove a tractor up to pull him out (the tractor barely made it up thoguh). and the guys that own the property and just recently graded it were reall cool nice guys and just laughed at us and called us dumbasses haha. eh long weekend

yes me and justin made it home fine and luckily the navajo still runs.
