ring and pinion upgade

If I replace my rear 3.73 with 4.10 on my 2003 4x4 , will this cause a problem when in 4x4, do I have to change the front dif. gears to match rear?

yes you have to change the front gears to match or you'll damage the transfer case along with a bunch of other stuff. front and rear gears must match unless its like 4.10 rear and 4.11 front thats a minimal difference that wont show or due damage while off road cuz the tires will slip enough for the .01 difference, but 3.73 and 4.10's wont work in 4x4 or not for long at least
