Hi, is anyone having a problem with there seat belt (buckle) disengageing, or opening up without pressing the button?
I have been having trouble with this.
Not sure if there was a recall or it just needs to be replaced.
Don't want to get into an accident and the belt not stay buckled.
Thanks

I've got the same problem with mine. I think the spring inside that holds the button out has broke. I imagine you could buy a replacement from Ford.

I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to fix mine first though.

That is not bad at all. I figured they would be $150 or more.

Well Ford dealers in Kansas City want $48.90 for the same part :fire:
Hell one even quoted me $57!

I realize you are in Michiagn, but I would not expect that much difference in price.

Its ford employee discount.
Mine came in today, I just tried to get to it, it a pain in the a--.
I either have to remove the center console or unbolt the seat tracks.
I think I will unmount the seat, the bolts are easier to find compared to the center console, with I tried to figure how it was mounted.
Also need to get some 10mm I beleive sockets, I can't find crap in the garage this late.
