Shift motor, 3 screws are siezed, need advice

Alright my shift motor is acting up, and i beleive its the problem were the sensor in it gets an incorrect reading since 4x4 is sometimes on when in fact there is no power to the front end as well as the shift motor never changed position. So ive pulled the shift motor off and ran into a small problem.. all 3 bolts are right siezed. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to -unsieze these damn screws, my security torx bit is already damaged (yet still works ok). I was going to heat it but i wanted to make sure if it is a bad idea or not first.

Any input is appreciated, sorry if this is a repost or something, i just cant find specifics for this.

Dont heat it there are plastic pieces inside, can you cut a slot for a screwdriver into the heads of the screws?

I was thinking that, or at least getting rid of the stupid bolt up the center so i dont need to strip torx bits.. I doubt a common slot screwdriver would help though, they are friggin in there, perhaps a hammer is in order?

Have you thought about drilling the bolt heads off?

I would go get a good set of torx bits. I rebuilt mine today, it's pretty simple the screws came out with a good ratchet and vise.

My set cost about $50 canadian, came with 11 bits, but yet one has actually twisted, i would drill out the little notch in the screw but i dont know if its too risky since it may drill out other parts of the screw.... I might just get the torx bit replaced.

Wow $50 is alot, I got 8 bits for about $12 and they are good quality.
