First, thanks to everybody who answered my posts on my satellite radio questions. Today I went to a local Tweeters store to see what they had and prices. It seems as though Sirius and Tweeters (possibly other vendors too) are having a promotion. If you pay for an antenna and installation, you get the receiver free.
I got an Audiovox receiver that can be mounted under the seat or in a trunk and uses the cable that connects to the OE antenna. The control head is mounted on the console where it meets the dash and is angled so that it is easily reached and highly visable. Real neat installation with no visable wires. My total cost was less than $150. It works great. Now I see why you all raved about satellite radio.
