Smog Check Results

Here in California, we have to get a smog test every other year. I just had mine done, and thought I would post the results. This is a '93 w/4.0, 130,000 miles.

Test results listed are all at 25mph.

The smog guy seemedto be a bit surprised at how well I scored, maybe because of the 'beater' appearance. (The truck, not ME!)

hi bill, how are you? glad you passed....not passing is a bad thing.....NO is oxides of nitrogen... i have no idea why they did it that way.....

I just got mine done last month. Let me see if I still have the paper and I'll do a commparasion with you. I do remember that I was pretty good. My scores were alot lower that the max.

I did mine 2 months ago and it barely passed. The guy told me I was one of the lowest he's ever seen. So now I have 2 years to fix it. It's got almost 150,000 miles on it and still runs strong even after the 60,000 miles I put on it with the pedal to the floor. I don't have the paper in front of me but if I can find it I'll post my results.

i'm glad there's no emission regulations here. i dont think my daytona would pass. my explorer is still stock as far as performance goes.
