The correct way to run the shocks in the rear would have been to tab the housing and run them thru the bed, to a shock hoop. I was just being a pansy about the situation and keeping the explorer a nice daily driver (with the ability for mild prerunning duties)

Mike D, you can also cantilever that setup which would be off the hook. It will save your bed space. I went through the floor on my truck and love the ride and look, but miss the functionality of having a full cargo area.

Yeah I remember seeing an Explorer on here (for sale I think?) with a cantilever setup a few years back (and really bling fab work).

Mike D's was for sale (I just stalked his past posts) but there was another white Explorer with Cantilver that had the frame notched for a canitlever setup.

cantilever is a great way to go. and not as expensive as most people think.

i was trying to sell mine but I was going to lose to much money, so i decided to keep it continue the build. Next is changing the ac over, paint and then design some graphics for it. In between that it will probably get a cage...Mike
