Another Great Run with fellow EF Members.
My Father (DAExploer) and I drove down from Big Bear in the morning with temps at 29 Degrees.
We were happy to get off the mountain into warmer temperatures.
Pretty simple trip to the meeting point and a great overall relaxing run with great scenery.
Had a Blast

..Just wanted to add that that is not smog...We had a marine layer move in right behind the snow that dropped on Big Bear and it hadn't burned off during this trip..

..I must say I really like this pic..I think Steve should blow it up and hang it in his garage...:biggthump

Yea that was a great picture just luck that i snapped that.

Also have to mention that it was Harley's First off road trip since her passing and Im sorry for your loss, but she will live on in spirit and memory.

..I m actually camping not far from that trail tonight and it's the first time camping without her..

Chris got the better shots. My camera was giving me issues however here are some that I took. Sorry the water crossing wasn't in focus. I did find that there was some rock crawling going on, just not us.

..Darnit..I should of got a pic of that long snake laid out on the road..It would have gone good with that lizard..

...I'm surprised no one got any pictures of all the flora a bloom..

..And this picture makes my X actually look good..

I wished you had taken the photo of the snake also. Chris and I were talking about it and we didn't know that if you honked the horn of an Explorer that a snake would actualy move off the road.

Here is a photo of the bloom. The color in person was much crisper.

..After we had all parted ways, I started heading over to the So. Main Divide Rd. OHV park in Wildomar..Something had happened and there were several Fire and Ambulance vehicles that were passing me..

..Although I was almost there I turned back..

..I took this time to stop by and pay my respects to those who had given their lives protecting our Wildlands. This is the California Wildland Firefighter Memorial..
