Solid axle

Im considering buying an Explorer and would like it to match the 1380 RTI of my Toyota and still be a dayly driver has any one done a solid axle? Any advice witch axle
(Dana 44 35)?

i am considering a dana 44 solid front from a classic bronco and i believe sandy is also working on one, i am working on locating my extended radius arms so that oem bronco arms will work with my ttb ifs other than that i have heard that it will bolt in. good luck getting in touch with sandy i havent been able to locate a recent mesage so i cant talk to him about the project. let me know if you come up with anything else. i have e-mailed and phoned about 10 business' and individuals to get teh track width of a EB dana 44 but no luck yet. anyway keep in touch on it.
