i brought this back up because i FINALLY went to the track last night with a friend with a 99 GT. my X went 15.255 with .591 reaction time best. i am very happy. ran 4 passes, last one being best. it was still 90 degrees on the last pass (@ 10:00) and that was my best one. raced a 97-up ford truck with 4.6 (beat him), raced a honda CRX with lots of body mods and no motor (he ran a 17-something), raced a new 4wd Tahoe and beat him (he ran a 16.5). i tought the tahoe was gonna spank me, but no luck. the last one was bad. 71 Chevy LONG WHEEL BASE truck, stock rally wheels, very quiet mufflers, no visual mods at all, and he ran a 13.5 something. he said "i win a lot of money with this truck". yea, i bet he does. no NOS. all big block. thats ok though, my buddy raced him right before they closed and pulled a 13.589 out of his bolt-on GT and the 71 chevy got a 13.6-something. d@mn close race. now i want to do some more mods... BAD!!!
