The drivers door speaker on my '97 XLT works fine most of the time, but every now and then it will get buzzy or cut out all together. If it just cut in and out, I would suspect a bad wire. Since it gets buzzy, I'm wondering if it is a problem with the speaker itself. This is an aftermarket speaker that my son installed new in 2005. Any ideas?
I've searched and similar problems came from a bad connection at the amp, but I don't think I have an amp since I don't have a sub. Am I right?
