I've always thought it was a condenser, like back in the old points days. Well, not that old, the Rangers had them.
I actually wonder if you have a partial failure in your coil pack. Have you swapped it out with another just for testing? It may test fine when cold but maybe as it heats up causes a break in the coil and loss of spark? If you can, measure your coil cold and right when it dies on you.

Just for reference, my coil measured as follows:
Front coil pair: 13.17K ohm
Mid Coil Pair: 12.92K ohm
Rear Coil Pair: 13.18K ohm
Each primary winding at 0.6 ohm
That's kinda weird that it would only show as a problem when warm though. That would mean 1/3 of your engine wasn't firing, or perhaps the whole thing depending on what wire was bad.

This sounds like exactly what my 94 is doing. I have thought all along it was fuel related but now.... not so much. Changed out filter, pump ( only once), FPR. Throws no codes at all KOEO or KOER. Have changed relays and fuses.
It will idle for a half hour no problem. I even drove it the other evening ( when cooler out though) for a half hour running it hard, lots of hard acceleration. Thought I had fixed my problem. Tried to go the landfill transfer and didn't make it two miles on a warm day. ....... I do have a spare but used coil pack I will try next. And see if that changes the problem or fixes it. Thx.
After months and months and even leaving it at a shop for three weeks ( they couldn't replicate the problem) I replaced the Ignition Control Module and have two months of no problems at all. thank God.
The ICM on a '94 ( at least mine) is hidden behind the battery towards the headlight. I think I found the location on here after the worthless repair manuals I have couldn't tell me where it is. I grabbed one out of a parts car and it worked.
