starter replacement help

ok, in the middle of changing the starter on my 2001 sprt, VERY limited tools, cannot get the top starter bolt out, any help?

It's not that bad...

You will need a couple of extensions to get the socket to the bolt up top and then the bolt will come out...

i did call the one ford dealership that was still open and they said that i will need to put the socket. a swivel and about a foot and a half long extension

Yep- I think I had 4 of them stuck together to get all the way down.

Do you have a deep socket? You could use this along with an extension, and a breaker bar or a ratchet.

i do in fact have a deep socket, where are all the extensions going to be coming out at so i have a idea of where i need to work with to keep my time on the driveway as little as possible
