My mount, and I'll try to get a pic of it mounted tomorrow if it's not raining. I thought I had one but can't seem to find it right now.

Nice mount did you make that or purchase it.

It's from FST where Rick had his truck done. Felix, the guy I bought the X from got it from there.

Any idea on the price on this? I don't think Felix even visits the site anymore, does he (so it wouldn't really help to PM him)?

He was shipped to Okinawa. I think there is a post about the price. I'll try to find it, or if you want to I think it's his elite registry.

$150 for that mount and it's a weld on part.

Thanks, I found it. Looks like you both have a problem with rain. :p

Quote: Felix
"It was $150 and it is weld on. It is not exactly what I wanted but it will work much better than the one I have at the moment. If it does not rain tomorrow I will start taking my truck apart to install it. The rain has been so bad I couldnt get my truck to dry off enough to start working on it as of yet."

Any body happen to know what the compression rate of the coil spring is from when you first got it to when you installed it? I believe the 5.5" EB coils is 21" when first received. I am still not sure at what height I would need to mount the coil buckets to the frame at. What height level will this give you compared the the rear?

On my truck its around 17" compressed. I mounted my coils 2 inches down from what would be stock bronco location. And it is in the 6.5-7" lift range. If you check jrgaylors build he mounted them like stock bronco and sanvde did his like 4 inches down. ( if i chopped names sorry ahead of time).

My springs are ~17" compressed and the bottom flange on the coil bucket is mounted under the frame,(the very top of the last spring is ~11" from the bottom of the frame) if i was to do it again I would move the coil bucket down 1 to 1 1/2" to level it out, I have a winch in front and a add-a-leaf in the rear

Anybody got pics of how they mounted the coil buckets? Could use some visuals...especially on the driver side where the frame flares out because of the steering box!!!

I got two types of square tubing ( 2"x3"x3/8" and 2"x6"x1/4" ) and I'm not sure which one would be best for the coil buckets!

IROK tires are in!!

The carpet in my apartment is filthy from me walking to and from the back porch where I rebuilt a full width 8.8.

I convinced my wife that if I were to leave my axle and parts I just spent a ton of money on outside on the back porch then it'll rust  :p :D

Plus too, she goes out wheelin with me so its all good  :D

I am trying to keep the carpet from getting TOO dirty with the axle being in the house, but it was already dirty to begin with

Axle tube seals are in!

My friend finally finished the fabbing of the axle tube outer seals; similar too the ones that alloy usa makes for the heeps as shown here from 4x4xplor website:
