I'm going to add HD radio, Steering Wheel Adapters but things I have no idea about is how much sub watts i need to go with my speaker the same 2x or half, do i need shallow mount sub for replacing the factory ones, i listen rap, reggae, reggaeton, r&b, evethiny...

also i thinking of this http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_500PDX5/Alpine-PDX-5.html?tp=115 would that fit on the factory amp space to add the 4 speakers also

thanks for the help guys

i want to use the factory enclose space for the 8" and i have no idea how much watts sounds like so i just want something good enough to hear with my windows down in traffic

ok first of how much bass do you want if you wannt a litlle bump then the 8 will do kinad good if i where you i would go at least a 10" and definetaly not a kicker not a huge fan i have a set of infinity refrence 12s in teh back and they bang off of a 600 watt rms amp at 1ohm.

I have an '04 too. i have a thread 'upgrading an audiophile sub' where i did mount a 10" in the stock enclosure. For a sub amp i used a Pioneer GM D7400M Amplifier which worked very well with the Pioneer 10" but it was over powered for the 8". Although that kicker depth wise should fit and from the looks handle the watts.
hopefully this helps http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246610

sub 10"
Pioneer TS-SW251

what you think, with one is better and what would be a good amp or it

watch the depth, i don't remember what i measured, but 4" to 4.5" seem to be the max depth, that pioneer would fit for sure at 3". In the thread i have a picture of the stock next to SW251, the stock bolts to the backside of the enclosure.
