so its $250 for them and to be shipped to my house? (in NC)

Are you going to be doing different heights? I like the factory rake in my X and don't want to lose it just because my only option was a .5 inch less lift in the rear....

well damn man sounds like a good deal and product!
if you dont mind putting up some pics when you are done and then sign me up for a pair:D

Perhaps I missed it in the discussion, but what are the finish on these...will they be powder-coated? Also...what grade hardware are you including with the kits?

I will not be powdercoating them. I will ship them raw, or painted if that's what you guys want. all hardware will be grade 8 or equal metric grade.

so whas the difference between powder coating than painting them?

so whats the word after they were sent to the laser cutter brandon?

Well I sent him strut mount plates UPS and he should had recived today so he could make sure 100% fit rite.

I got them today, and boy, am I glad I did...I made a mistake measuring Ben's somehow, so THANK YOU! I will fix the mistake and get back on track with these.

...I was thinking of trying to come up with some excuse, but the simple fact is, I screwed up somehow.

I doubt you measured wrong. The set I ordered from him didn't fit and I had to elongate the holes on the back ones by about an 1/4 inch each to make them work. also had to elongate the holes on the truck to fit his bolts.
I'm still happy with the spacers but it was a PITA to have to file out.

So these are basically an exact copy of Ben's then??

Well I can tell you from experience, that RB spacers don't exactly line up in the mount holes, at least mine didn't. When I installed mine, I had to break out a mallet and gingerly (that's being conservative) tap them in so everything lined up. The welded bolts were a bit off on the measurement.

I guess I was hoping for a new design or an improvement here with the BTF spacers, but it sounds like they are just a replica of something that's already on the market :dunno:

On the market yes, but with months of waiting a duplicate design should be fine if it can be delivered in short order. I do like the fact that the RB ones are powdercoated. Worth the extra $40 in my opinion but I wouldn't want to wait again, so its a toss up.

well as long as it fits and alines right so i dont have to make any adjustments to them then ill be happy with that, replica or new design idc.

and i dont mind waiting for them to be made exactly right, bc everyone messes up lol

He never said they are going to be an exact replica, he just said he had the measurement wrong...which sounds like it was actually Ben's measurement that was wrong. Brandon is a very competent fabricator, give him a chance before making assumptions.
