still want lift spacers?

Brandon,

Ive got my 2nd gen if you need some stock suspension to look at/ try stuff out on if you plan on doing a lift for 2nd gens ;) ....and i know a guy, Jeremy here at cal poly, that said he know you guys..?

Don't you guys have enough options for lifts? Ones that are actually a much better choice than a spacer?

Not a whole lot of economical solutions when you're talking about an independent suspension. Spacers are a fine (and proven reliable) choice for 3rd gen's.

well hey brandon do you have the blue prints or designs for these yet? because id like to see id i could make these in the fab shop i work at.

LOL what? Its commercial, not open source. You have to go through the design process yourself.

Brandon has a complete fab shop in-house....

Been to his website?

yeah i know but i was just seeing if i could make my own spacers for my 04 ex instead of buying them...

but i guess i can buy them from brandon

Im sub'n to see if these come out. I have been looking at Expedetion since you can fit dang near 33's stock with a little trimming and with a 2in body lift they fit fine...but i wouldnt mind the slightly better fuel economy of the Explorer and along with a 2in spacer i could run a decent set of 32's. So im here to see what happens.

yea but I'm just offering because I'm close. I mean, who doesn't want custom stuff on their truck?

sorry to hijack..

This brandon guy hasnt been on or responding IN FOREVER...... maybe we should for another source???

I should be getting a front/rear strut from a helpful member soon to take measurements from, etc.
I am hoping within two weeks I will have at least the prototype set made.

It's been 10 days and from what he posted last, he's working on it.

If you read the thread, you'll realize that he's a one man operation and is busy...

Thanks froader...I am busy, but I do want to get these into production, once the design part is done, turnaround will be quick on them.
...I'm actually headed to the shop in a few minutes to finish a bumper/pulling bedsides.:)

so...I think the extra pair of struts that someone was going to send has fallen through.
if anyone local can leave thier truck w/ me for a day to take measurements, I will give them the first set for free (probably about a week after I take measurements) or i'll give anyone that doesn't want the spacers, but lets me borrow thier truck $50 cash:D

I'll come move to cali for a free pair of spacers. lol

Let me ask my dad, he has an '05 2WD.

How far you from Sacramento? I'd be glad to pay for them. I would just ask that you install them for me. LOL ;)

PM me if you're interested.

Oh, I already have my carpet pulled if it helps.

Nevermind brandon, my dad isn't interested in lifting his explorer, and i think he'd spend at least $50 going back and forth to your shop.

if no one can do it i can go to the junk yard and pull a front and rear coilover then mail them to you if you come them along with shipping. that could be a little expensive but i'm sure you will make money back on it quick.
