Stock air box

Can someone tell me the secret to removing the bottom half of the air box? It looks like it should just pull out of the 4 grommets. I think the air duct may be causing difficulty in the removal. Does the air duct come apart in some way?

yea the air duct comes out from inside the box just pull it out and give the rest of the box a good yank and should come right out
