Sync Subscrition

Hey All,

I'm new here. I just purchased a 2015 Explorer xlt with MFT. I have a 2008 Fusion with Sync, so I'm used to the basic functions of it. What I'm wondering, is it worth it to subscribe to the Sync services? $60 a year isn't exactly a back breaker, but i don't want to waste it if the service is not worth it. Any advice would be great. What do you like best about it?

Best thing about is, is it was free when I bought my vehicles. Only thing I've ever used it for was to get directions in my non-nav vehicle before I had a smartphone. Now the only thing I use it for is to send directions for my wife to use via SYNC Destinations app in her vehicle with Nav. I would never renew, even if it was $5, basically useless if you have a smartphone.

Did you buy the 2015 Explorer new? If the answer is yes, it should of come with 3 years of Sync Services for free.
