OK...Looks extremely easy, but never performed. Replacing the belt tensioner. One center bolt holding on. My assumption: just pull bolt and replace tension and re-tighten bolt, correct? Or is there anything else that I may need to know (no information in SUV manual)?

Appreciate feedback.

It's pretty simple. First relieve the tension off the belt (remove belt). And then yeah, loosen the bolt (I think its a 13mm or a 15mm). Anyhow, you will see a little nipple on the backside of the sensor where it mounts...when putting the new one on, make sure it is in the hole where it needs to be. You will see it.

pretty sure its 13mm, incase you dont know take a ratchet (dont know if u need it on loosen or tightnet i think tighten) or a breaker bar and put it in the square hole on the tensioner and push down then slip the belt off, i usually take it off od the alt or idler. then take bolt out, put new one on, replace bolt, pull the tensioner up and slip the belt back on. hsouldnt take but 10 minutes, good luck

Edit: also, move the air intake, that frees up ALOT of room so u can get your arm down there to lift/push on the tensioner, tip from experience

Thank you to all...Information was accurate.
