Well i decided against the 32 inch tires. My step dad is selling his truck so we were going to switch them but two of them were getting down there in tread. So i guess my new question is what would the most ideal tire size be for gas milage if i got 4.10 gears and the SOHC v6. I also drive about 85-90% in city. Right now i got 225/75R16 on there which were on when i bought them. I have searched around but i haven't really found anything on this topic. So far the thing that has been the biggest help to me was the tire/gear ratio chart. http://www.sierrabronco.com/TireGearRatio.htm
I am looking at the chart and the 255/75r16 (31") tire puts me in middle of the gear area which is best for overall performance. While the 255/70R16 (30") tire puts me at the last end of the green right before it switches to the pink which is best for towing. Any input on this would be good. I will add that right now with my little 29" tires i am averaging about 15 mpg. Just looking to improve my milage a little bit by using a tire thats not undersized. Thanks

Nah, i've got 4.10s with 33s and it's fine.

BUMP i got a new question but didnt want to start a new thread.

...And you didn't find an answer in my thread???......What is your question???...:D

Whoops. I guess that would help. I was in a bit of hurry to type that i forgot my question. What tire size would be most ideal for in city driving with 4.10 gears? I suppose stock tire size would be but since i got the 410 would i see any better mpg with going to a 31 inch tire? Thanks

...The thing is, all tires are not created equal..;)

...Say you get brand "X" in a 31x10.5x15 tire which would go nicely with your 4.10's....Each manufacturer makes this tire but they can be over 1" taller/shorter and over 1" wider/narrower...

...Then you add tread design, tire compound, weight and now it becomes a science...You wil get varied answers as to "what is the best tire for mpg"...If you search that question on here you will find some good answers..

...But, 31's would do just fine with 4.10's...:D
