i think it looks pretty sweet... and they did a great job on the kit... looks very custom and professional

Rize Industries makes a 6" and 8" for the IRS Expedition. I dont know how much different it is from the explorer.

Good luck...

I emailed RIZE about a year ago.... I got the normal, "We are not planning on making a kit for the explorer at this time." I doubt they are going to change their mind. On the other hand, if they got the request from a bunch of people all at once maybe they would reconsider.;)

that would be pretty awesome if htey made one... seems like this is very similar to the explorer just kind of a scaled-down frame for an explorer than expedition.. i would love puttin that kinda lift on the explorer.. would look tight

ok guys, i have an update that could be beneficial. Rancho is set to release the Quiklift Strut to the market in april. this replacement strut will give 1 to 2.5 inches of lift. it reuses your old sprins and all just like a stock replacement. Good news is the 02-05 explorers are on the production list. rancho said to check the website in march for more specifics.

well keep your fingers crossed then, these are the struts that they had at sema in 06.

Here is thier Kit for the IRS Expedition...

A friend of a friends (hehe) built a sus lift kit for the IRS Expedition. Its INSANE. It had like 35's on it.. and the entire bottom was absolutly awsome... looked like a tranformer or something. Had lots and lots of chrome.

I had the pics but I lost them one time on a hard drive format. Ill get them again so everyone can see. This was about 9 months ago... maybe he has something out for the explorer by now, as I recall he was working on it. Ill check.

:exporange

lol... this is the damb kit I posted about way back in May. One of my best friends from SD knows the owner personally and the he has this kit on his Expedition. My friend said it looks CRAZY in real life. The rear also.

Engine...any pics from SEMA? If Rancho is finally going to give us a break I'll be more than happy to fork over my hard earned cash...But like FROADER said....we've heard it before.

Also, Rick was at SEMA again this past year. If Rancho had them there, I'm sure Rick would have taken som pics of them. Maybe he did and I missed them.

Rick's SEMA pics

the pics are on gorancho.com....it looks like a regular stut...

iuf you know anyone with an f150 or expedition, measure the distance between the studs for the struts for me, I have lathes and machining tools and could possibly make a lift. if the distance on an f150 or expedition is the same however we can use the same spacer lifts they do. without building a cradle lift its the only way I see to do it and not loose droop.

im talking a spacer like this. sits ontop of the strut and just moves everything down.

Hi guys, I'm in the early stages of designing a lift. I'm working on a type of long-arm kit with custom half-shafts so we can actually GAIN ground clearance. It will require rear frame mods but when it's finished the result will be worth it. I'll keep you posted on how it's going. Right now it's still on paper.
