Torque Monster headers install problems

I'm going to Performance Engines tomorrow to pick up some pieces for my customers. I'll ask him if he will let me know when he gets some aftermarket heads in. I'll take the headers in and test fit them. That way, if I decide to use the headers, I'll know which aftermarket heads to use. It might be worthwhile to get better heads if I'm going to do all that work. Right now, I just need my truck back on the road.

I bet they would bolt right on mid 97 model with GT40 heads and external EGR. Build dates prob 8/96-11/96. Now to find that buyer.......

I could be that person. Considering I'm STILL (almost 3 months since I slid the cam into the block) waiting on crane to send my springs I'm very tempted to just go ahead and pull the trigger on a set of AFR heads.

I ended up putting a set of store brand aluminum heads on my engine. My buddy did some port work, and my son and I did the tune. I used roller rockers, and have had it together for about 14 months now. I also took the AWD stuff out and rebuilt and modified a rear wheel drive transmission at the same time. Getting almost 16 mpg mixed city and country. No idea about interstate only, am usually pulling a trailer and driving pretty fast on the interstate, so I never checked. I test fitted the headers and sparkplugs before I accepted the heads. Been great so far.
