Hey folks, Need some gearheaded brainstorming, Convinced myself to modifying my transfer case from the present pushbutton type to cable actuated. The plan is to use a generic twist lock cable set up available anywhere and have a piece machined that will bolt on over the transfer case actuator ( the triangle ) and run it up thru to the dash. Question: Has anyone else tried this,If so any advice? What bearing will it have on any other electrical component? Such as speed sensor. ANY help???

I was considering dooing the same thing with mine, only I was going to ues a marine grade push/pull cable assembly and a throttle control from a boat to control it. I don't belive it will affect the electronics, but you must keep the plate that covers the speed sensor from comming out and reinstall it.
