Only strait sheetmedal left now is the tail gate. Truck needs some work but should be good to go by january. Hopefully i will have some more tricks in my truck by then

Nice job on the truck dude.. hehehe.. as far as being in the back, I don't mind, I like playing tailgunner... lets me show up all you fords once you have trouble making an obstacle, and my jeep walks right up it

This has been a problem in some of my past "non-4x4central.com" offroad trips, and doesn't seem to be a big deal here but I thought I'd ask anyway, as I really wanna go on this trip. Does anyone bring wives or girlfriends on these runs? Please don't chastise me for asking. She sometimes digs this kinda stuff and it would be easier for me to go.

One thing that wasn't mentioned in this thread, but it is linked from the info thread. No drivers under 18 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I plan to make it this year (my first!), and Kevin (Diffwackdaddy) is coming with me. We will both be towing our rigs down from washington.
The only thing keeping my from coming will be my knee. i just had reconstructive surgery today on it, i should be off the crutches and done with rehab in time.

You will all get to meet the fury of the fullsize!

Yeah, my truck will look alot different from last year. Got alot of work going in to it in the next three months. And it will definately perform better.

And my girlfriend loves going camping, so I am hoping she'll go with me.

Well FOOEY. My mother managed to weasel a weekend trip out to Las Vegas from her boss that weekend and I was hoping that maybe I could come out and meet some of you guys (not to mention get away from her for a little while ), but I see that Salton City is almost 6 hours away

Seeing as to how I'll only be 23, and the legal limit out there to rent a car (I think) is 25 (not to mention I'd get the "You've never been off the East coast! How do you plan on finding your way?!" speech..even though I DRIVE for a living)...I doubt I'll get to see you guys.

Pity. I was really getting excited about it too If anybody should happen to be out Las Vegas way though....!

thats exactly what he told me over the cb just before he went up some major ledge type thing in thaven 2002... i did follow him.... man that hurt... after a few tries, my truck bounced its way to the top i know my skidplates work

This is on my radar screen, but who knows what can happen in the workplace by then in this economy. Especially when you work in a large IT organization.
Consolidation of servers and datacenters is ongoing, not to mention the RFP about outsourcing my IT organization.
I just try to plan a month or two in advance.
