 Gawd, it's been forever since I have been on here. Sucks, college and moving has had me so busy, I finally got the chance to work on my truck this week a little. Replaced/replacing all the doors and hatch, oh the joy. The truck is running fine now, which is good. Kind of over the sounds and shakes it makes, sept one thing:

When I stop, at a red light, it studders, like sounds like its gonna quit, but then never does and starts running normal again. When I think about it, it has to be some thing to do with the spark plus/wires. What do you guys think?

ALSO

Why does it randomly speed it's self up? I speed up and then slow let go of the gas to stop gaining speed and it reves it's self up? Does anyone know why?

Thanks guys!
-Angie

Sounds like the IAC solenoid. Mine was doing the exact same thing, I cleaned it and it was better (the usual fix is to clean it and that completely cures the problem 99% of the time) but I eventually replaced it so the problem would go away. There is an IAC cleaning thread around here somewhere with pictures. It could be other things too, like vacuum leaks, but the IAC prolly needs cleaning anyway.

...^^^ i agree with what he said plus, i would inspect all the vacuum lines for loose and/or cracked lines...:D

Thank you guys soo much for ya'lls opinion. I will deffently try my best to get around to checking that. If I don't get it done soon, will it hurt my truck at all? Just need to know cause my life never really stops. So glad yall are here though, gezz, Id be so lost lol!

Thanks again,
Angie

...these are maintenance items but you should know, with a computer, it will start compensating for other things and this can cause other problems...good luck ...:D
