Too bad Eric had to dip, I was looking forward to seeing his Jeep in the flesh. Thankfully, he had the opportunity to visit the park earlier.

Incidentally, you might not be seeing GiGi the Gas Guzzler this time around... She was a fun project, but she's up for sale. She'll make a good off-road beater or work truck for somebody else.

Aw, oh well, things do happen! Still hoping I'll be able to make it, but making some funky financial decisions. Like you're getting rid of the dodge, and I'm buying a 40/yo mazda lol
Still plan to fix the X and hopefully be done before if not I think the rado will be good enough to use, bit big but do-able.

That's alright! Thanks! As said, gonna work as much as I can and get things done soon for the X so I'm ready. Really hope to make it, but dang time is flying right on by!

Yep! That I agree with! Though my girlfriend is helping gladly, not her favorite thing in the world, but she's learning she enjoys least helping me on things and learning some herself. Just got it home today too, much better than I expected it to be too, though the seized pistons will be fun. This thing gets fixed then I go back to the X, since I want the mileage to save cash better, but hopefully the X will be done in time. But either way, if I don't make it this year, again, sorry, but for sure the year after! Or maybe another event a bit later, be nice to finally meet some of yall in person, maybe moab next year!

Oh trust me, I'm trying! Also trying to be smart and plan ahead, which was the point of the mazda for the mileage and such. Got plenty of time to have fun!

Well, boyos, it's going to be tight making this trip. Not unexpectedly, there are some associated expenses with this most recent vehicle that are going to cut into my fun budget for a while.

If things go the way I've calculated, I shouldn't have any issue making the trip; but if not, I might have to bail. Just saying it now in case things go wrong.

I stand to start making a lot more money soon due to that spontaneous change in labor laws. The company is literally restructuring so I don't work as much extra, because they don't want to have to pay me (and all others my equals) for all the over-overtime we've been putting in. I'll work less and still get paid more... a positive exchange, but it won't offset this truck payment.

As of this time, I am still planning to make the trip. If I become unable to attend for any reason, I will make sure to inform the group here and on Overland Bound.

Sadly I'm going to have to pass this year. Can't get the time off it seems and I just ain't got enough right now trying to fix both my b2000 and the explorer. Yall better take some good pictures though! Look forward to next year!

I'll try, starting to seem like it may go on hold till I Ls swap it though sadly. Though my X may be soon back on the road!
