V8 swap into '92???

First of all is this possible?? The second gen 5.0 V8 that I want to use is from an AWD explorer, my first gen 92 is a 4x4. I am wondering how much work is involved in this and if it even works. Would I have to change the transmition also? how could I adapt the V8 to the 4x4? thanks guys.

Anything is possible. The swap has been done before and is great if done correctly. It's a lot of work and you will most likely use a different tranny. There are adapters, mounts, etc to make the swap go quicker.
