I may have a couple spares laying around, shoot me a pm and I'll see what i can dig up.

Turdle has some 1st gen valve covers that are powdercoated real pretty,, , ,

Yea get the powder coated ones.he does GREAT WORK.member name is turtle

i found him after i asked, already emailed him. i know my driver side is bad, there is a rust hole in it, pass. side look ok dirty dingy kind of thing but driver side is a scary thing to look at

Xeek has a set from him and they look great.wish i would have gotten him to do mine

Yes sir;) im a winer. He can do any color you want also.

haha i voted for ya , yeah i got a hold of him, those i would just want a shiny silver coat on, so there isnt to much green, it started raining so im screwed till it stops again to work on the ex. know a truck for rusted hardcore bolts thats been effected by ohio weather

Pb blaster and heat.just be careful with a torch up in there.i have a little tool that grabs rounded of bolts but its to big to fit.i used vise grips before also.rust down here is really bad to especially with beach 4x4ing;( ps thanks for the vote;)

ive been soaking them in pbb, didnt really wanna take a torch to it since i had a gas leak..... but i could get a pen torch to it i guess and see if that would help.

i dont really have any good pics. my intake is coated also. black chrome is what mines called. similar to gunmetal. turdle does amazing work, highly recommend him for this.

Ill be getting shiny silver from Turdle, already talked to him... now Im scare though... because the ex is a 93 Ohio car.. lots of rust.. so afraid them bolts are gonna snap... just delt with this and a friends car.. took us 9 hrs to drill out one bolt and didnt even get it done...

ended up taking Vice Grips and tons of sealant and gasket maker

Another trick i like to think works is to tap on the head a little first then slightly tighten it first a very little if any.then loosen it.bit those things aren't in there very tight to began with so they shouldn't be to hard to take out

So soak em in PB, Tap on them, try to go both directions.. I thought about trying to get a torch to it so it would soak the pb blast in, but with gas leak.. thinking open flame... not a good idea, lol.
