i have them on my truck well one my hood snapped the driver wire mine and your year are the same this is what you do the passenger side is easy just grab and pull the driver side is a little harder you have to pull hard then take off the styrafoam thing on the tube. when you put the leds in you have to use a spacer thing if you wanna pic email me and hook them up to your parking lights
ok...i got the two of them in...i removed both of the old washers....and moved the styrofoam thing like you said....but after that im stuck.....how do i wire them to the parking lights
you ground it than u find the hot for the parking lights and splice it or you could simply use a fuse (seems to be easiest for newbies) that is always hot and run a wire from the fuse to a toggle switch and at the other end of the toggle switch would be ur hot from the "neon lights" and you run the black (ground) to a piece of metal in the car.
don't be stupid and run the ground to the switch as where the hot runs to positive touching negative will result in a bad experience
i didnt feel like writing it but i didnt wanna be rude and juss say "umm... how about , get a civic for that"

I can relate to that......my car almost blew up on account of my self stupidity, doing this traps the power with no where to go so it sends it back through the ground wire.....first smoke, then sparks, and then FIRE!!!!
i hooked mine up to the parking light both ground and power i split them useing a little blue plastic thing with a metal peice in it black is ground and brown is power
(i dont remeber the colors but the darker on is the ground)
did you get them hooked up what color are they mine are purple if you want a pic tell me i need to get new ones and im looking for a new color their only illegal if you dont have the color of the lights on your car what i say is if you have the blue ones get the blue headlights if you have the purple ones get the purple headlights i know some cops and thats what they told me to do

while it does depend on what state you live in for legality in the neon issues...no matter WHAT state you live in, any colored bulb different from yellow/white is illegal. If you have purple, green, blue, rainbow, etc. colored headlights, you WILL be pulled over.
Here in Illinois (im in cali for college) any type of neon/LED was illegal...as you see it didnt' stop me, however, putting colored headlights on your truck is stupid, for the reason with neosn and such, they are not "required" lighting accessories....and you can turn them off with a swtich when you do not want them in use...as with headlights/foglights of different colors, you NEED to have them on...if you see a cop at night and turn them off, you still get a ticket because you are driving with no headligths on. Just my 2 cents
this is true but here in san antonio if you have at least tented lights like those hyper blue lights it is legal to use the blue cobra eyes but if you have white headlight and blue cobras youll be pulled over for "imatating an emergency vehicle" trust me on that
Well let's just agree that on all 50 states if you don't have 'AMBER', 'WHITE', OR 'RED' on your vehicle, you're jus basically illegal!! END OF STORY!!
