I had a transwerx a4ld in my bronco when I finally went v8 and it was still working great
Absolutely not. After many years of prerunning and racing desert those 5speeds live much shorter lives in that setting than the a4ld due to the shock loads from whoop sections. Back in the day guys were bringing spare 5speeds and would swap them mid race
I’m not building a race car out of this one. But there are lots of whoop sections in its future so the manual isn’t gonna cut it. Also, i ****in hate driving a manual in southern CA.
