Well its all nicely cleaned up. (56k friendly now)

*edited by user*

Heh so much for the 56k warning and my server for the bandwidth issues.

So... instead of posting them as an image. You can go fetch them. The picture sizes are 1600 x 1200. If you can’t look at them, then don’t.

I don't think I've ever seen a colored tach like that before. Lookin good though! :D

Hmm, well its stock. I hopw to go to new a new setup. As for never seeing it before, what does it normaly look like?

If it helps this was orginaly sold in California and then the owner moved to Texas.

On a side note because of this, when emission tests are done its very funny. One time it didnt register at all. The machine wasnt setup to read that little yet. They fixed it, but I found it funny at the time. Only thing that wasnt funny is I had to come back the next day when it got reconfigured.

Nice pics, but could they be any larger?

Well they could. These are slightly reduced ;)

Why have a pic if you can zoom in on the details ;)

Rule applied. Lock out this thread and call it quits. Ill just stick the text I guess.

I honestly dont see what the problem was, I gave a warning to the users. So...

Anyways its always one person that has to ruin it for others.

So in conclusion.

Imagine a really clean 1995 explorer with 123k+ miles. And a very clean engine area. I hope that doesnt conflict with anything.

Did I over react, well yes. But then again Ive seen alot of pictures around here of that size with no complaints. So apparently they can do it, I cant.

Im sorry I offended anyone with broadband, heaven forbid you use the ability. As for 56k'ers... well the warning did exsist.

Atleast I did post a warning, not that I had to. But I have been on the 56k side before. General it tells me to stay out of the thread completely. But no worries now, its all fixed.

its alright Hardtech, I see you put the 56K warning out, thats suf###ient.. I just think its easier to view the pics when they aren't so large.. Thats just my opinion and you can take it with a grain of salt.

If you have XP you can get the image resizer power toy. Just go to microsoft.com, in the search field type power toys, click search, click the first link, find the image resizer on the right hand side and download it.

Smaller pics are fine, you can see everything. But I often find my self transferring it over to photoshop to try to figure out what something is. If its in a big form, no need to do this extra step. Half the people here say they have mods, but the pictures are so small that you really cant see them. Granted I am stock, but the pictures I had posted where detailed. Only thing you could not see was the swirls.

Well I have one image size, because it way easier than having 4 copies of the same picture. I post in other forums (not car related) where the 1600 x 1200 is acceptable if there is some kind of warning. Which I did warn.

Since large pictures offend some users here, I suggest the owner/s of this board go and get the "[screenshot][/screenshot]" tag. I’ve installed it before on a forum like this, and it works wonders. You can get it off the vBulletin support forums. If not someone will provide a link.

Makes it way easy ;)

I have XP, I have the image resizer... I’m just not going to make 5 different pictures. I guess I could throw them up on my SBC account by those pics are only 500 x ???

They started with 2,048 x 1,536 and a little over 1 meg a piece.. At least I got them down to 1600 x 1200. I didn’t figure this forum would have a problem. I guess you do, which is your own right. I don’t plan to butt heads with members or moderators of this forum. I can just move into one that suits my needs, this is all.

Uh, people don't want to scroll and view pictures in halves. How many people have a resolution above 1600x1200? Make the pics 800x600 maximum. Don't get all pissy, it should be common sense that 1600x1200 is too big for almost all PC users. Wanna know what I suggest? Follow the rules you agreed to. This is the BEST Explorer site out there. It has the most members and most information you'll find.

This is not me getting "pissy". This is a convenience factor. I pay for hosting, thus I also pay for space. This is just the easiest way I can work this. I’m almost regretting making this thread in the first place.

So fine ill offer the link, how in the world does this help....? I have no clue. At least this will be up to the users them selves.

*Warning: The picture sizes are 1600 x 1200. If you can’t look at them, then don’t.*

Its just stock, with I could do more. But somehow I can never bring my self to add anything onto a stock car. Just takes a fender bender and it’s off the to scrap yard :(

And if anyone knows about radios, and speakers let me know (cheap mind you, less than 200). The audio side of this forum kind of let me down.

I'm not saying don't post your hosted pics, just make them small enough for the typical PC user to view them. Not filesize-wise, but dimension-wise. I don't like CRT, which allow huge resolutions, I have an LCD. 1280x1024. I imagine most users have that and smaller. Websites are typically designed to fit in 800x600.

hard tech, your 95 looks great! very clean...i dont often see 95s on the road looking as nice as mine ;) it seems like they all have oxidized paint and are falling apart, glad to see yours isnt one of those

Very nice!!! It makes me miss my '95 I had somewhat. But, once I think of the power gain I got with the SOHC, the weight savings, and the shorter length making it easier to cut-off people :D, I don't miss it nearly as much. The engine bay is very clean. I would never have guess you had 123k on it by looking there. You X is very clean and looks great!!

Relax, folks. No need to scare someone away before then even get comfortable here.

HardTech - for future reference, a lot of folks here are old technology. What, you ask? Well, the machines they use and their connections cannot handle 2MP photos. Above was mentioned the PowerToy "Image Resizer" that integrates right into the menus of Windows XP.

PowerToys: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Image Resizer: http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

I, like Ben, am not busting your kahonies. I'm just suggesting an alternative.

On a related note, your ride doesn't look its age or mileage. Good job!
