So, as I was cleaning up, I noticed that my trusty socket set was getting old and lots of use. It has seen many miles of trails and junkyards. Which got me thinking...

What do you bring to the junkyard regularly?

I bring the socket set, a pry bar, cordless impact, and hammer.

Phillips and flat screwdrivers, whatever sockets and wrenches I think I'll need, pliers, etc. Usually too much and yet not quite enough.

Cash for the yard guy to pull it for me. I spent hours once pulling a motor and I needed another motor for a different project. $40 and it was loaded in my vehicle 15 minutes later. Complete, nothing hacked.

Cordless impact , extra batteries.
Battery can be jumped to main battery posts on vehicle , usually this will move seats and windows if needed

Most of my hand tools are always in my truck - they're as convenient there as anywhere. What I listed above is what I carry into the yard. If I need anything else, it's just a matter of going back to the parking lot.
