What oil are you guys using? Synthetic?

Knowing the timing chain / tensioner problems these trucks have, the type of oil used might have an impact.
What type of engine oil are you guys using - and are you using synthetic?

Use a good quality full synthetic (like Mobil 1 5W30), but using the best oil in the world will not prevent plastic from breaking. The 4.0L SOHC engine is just a ticking time bomb not matter what you do. The best thing you can do to extend it's life is to add a pre-oiler.
